"I wanted to tell you first, that
I love your book! I have read it cover to cover, and
as a traveler myself, I feel such a connection with
the personal stories in "A Global Citizen's Perspective….it
is so helpful and refreshing to see a career guide
for adventurous folks like ourselves! I didn't think
I would ever find a career counseling book that would
be so tailored to my goals and desires.”
Desha P., USA
"After 4
months of coaching, I have already
noticed great changes and progress in how I
live my life! As a fellow expat, I feel you
truly understand the problems and challenges
that I face….”

My Story
|
 |
| Welcome
to Global Citizen Coaching! My name is Elizabeth Kruempelmann.
So that you can know a bit about me, I'm happy to
share my background. I am a writer, global life coach,
wife and mother of two. My book, website and coaching
practice are the creative results of spending the
last 15 years living and working in the U.S.A., Denmark,
Germany, Poland and Portugal and playing in 36 other
countries.
|
| I
currently live with my German husband and two
children in Germany. I receive my coach training
at CoachU and I am a member of the International
Coaching Federation (ICF).
What’s
Unique about My Life?
- I'm passionate about life!
I’m passionate about living an authentic life and I truly believe I’m in the space of doing that now.
- I experience my passion for the world in many interesting ways.
My own journey to global citizenhood includes studying international business in Denmark, interning and teaching English in Germany, working in marketing and sales in corporate USA, being a partner in an advertising company in Poland, promoting cross-cultural training programs in Portugal, marrying a German, traveling to 36 countries, creating a mobile career and raising two bilingual children abroad.
- I’ve worked through the growing-pains.
In the last 15 years I have worked through my own self-discovery process while discovering the world. I’ve dealt with culture shock in various forms, intercultural relationships, finding jobs overseas, multiple moves to various foreign countries, 3 foreign languages, repatriation, bearing and raising children abroad, figuring out my true path in life and a host of other unique challenges that can really only be understood by someone who has personally been through them.
- I joyfully share my passion for the world with others.
One of the things I enjoy most about living a global life is helping other aspiring global citizens live out their dreams. To that end, I've written articles on global topics, advised international job seekers on Monster.com's international message board, marketed cross-cultural training programs, published The Global Citizen book, coached global citizens and most recently launched the Global Citizen Coaching website. I also love networking and connect people with each other as often as I can.
- I’m adventurous, unique and fun.
I’m truly grateful for the risks I’ve taken to live overseas. As part of my adventures, I've experienced historic moments like the fall of the Berlin Wall and the opening up of Eastern Europe. I've done unique things like riding a horse to the Egyptian pyramids and an elephant on a safari in Nepal.
And, I've had a lot of fun with the experiences that changed my life, like having kids, becoming a coach and learning to love life, wherever in the world our journeys take us.
Now that you know a bit about me, I look forward to the opportunity to learn about YOUR life. Let's Connect!
